Cindy Criswell Ducker has lived with rheumatoid arthritis since the age of eight. She does not, however, let her world of pain, surgeries, medical appointments and wheelchair use stop her from living her life to the fullest. She chooses to focus on what she can do and God’s plan for her. Her passions include reading, writing, rescuing animals, nursing home ministry, and advocating for those who live with arthritis. In 2007, she was the recipient of the first Arthritis Foundation Heart of Mission Award. Living with a disability and her love of the written word led her to share her stories where the characters come alive in your mind and in your heart. She loves to share her story, inspiring people of all ages to live their dreams, to be strong and to not let anyone tell them that they cannot achieve their goals. Cindy and her husband, Andy, reside in Prattville, Alabama with their canine kids, Sammy and Sally.
