And I loved it!! I read it in one day. The characters were so engaging. I rarely read Westerns—so I wasn’t sure I was going to get into this book. But—I couldn’t put it down! I grew up watching 2 favorite shows with my grandmother every night: Gun Smoke & Bonanza. This reminded me of those days.

I am glad you left the ending open–so that Sheriff Scott & Buster can ride again. You have to keep these characters going!

It took me back to the days of Gunsmoke and The Rifleman, two of my favorite Saturday activities. I could imagine the hot dusty grit caked on my sweaty brow as I travelled with the Sheriffs across the vast countryside to track down their man. Anyone who enjoys a good western will love every minute of this story!

It was a very fast pace with great relationships and character development. Many surprising twists and turns that I didn’t see coming, and they were fun to read.
