The M1 Garand: International Harvester
The M1 Garand: International Harvester is an advanced collector book which is the product of 34 years of meticulous research. It is hardbound, contains 480 pages in full color, and covers the production of the International Harvester (IHC) M1 Garand rifle from 1952-1956. The book provides a detailed monthly account of the rifle production and includes full color images of rifles assembled that month. To assist the collector in determining the originality of a rifle, it has 164 individual rifle data sheets and 530 captioned images. Finally, there is a 56-page data table that contains 1,898 individual serial numbers with corresponding barrel dates and stock channel numbers. The combined tables in the book contain an incredible 20,000 bits of data!

MSGT (Ret) Gary Wayne Bradford MSGT (Ret) Gary Wayne Bradford grew up in Hueytown, Alabama and graduated from the University of Montevallo in 1981. He served in the Alabama Air National Guard for 23 years as an Intelligence Analyst and was deployed in five separate Air Force operations. MSGT Bradford was on the 117th ARW rifle team for seven years and was issued an M1 Garand rifle for use in competition, which led to his love and subsequent study of the M1 rifle. MSGT Bradford is now retired and writing full-time. He plans on publishing three additional M1 rifle collector books.
