Written by Linda Bell Colquitt
Before Linda Bell Colquitt wrote this one-of-a-kind rhyming history about her favorite university titled Following the Auburn Tiger Pawprints Through the ABCs, she taught in the Okaloosa County Public School System in Niceville, Florida for thirty years. Holding a B.Sc. and Master’s Degree in education, she wrote and developed multiple educational materials to enhance the learning process and provide motivation for her many students. After she retired, Linda spent years researching historical tidbits and fun facts about Auburn University and put these findings in a unique format to create this book for all generations. Using photographs to authenticate the history and using a rhyming cadence for the text made this book showcase the icons and unforgettable moments that define the Auburn Nation. To make sure that the littles in this Auburn Nation were not left out, Linda recruited June Self Jones, a talented artist, to add whimsical drawings to portray the same entry as the photographs, but drawn especially for the younger Auburn fans. Following the Auburn Tiger Pawprints Through the ABCs, officially licensed by Auburn University is captivating for kids, nostalgic for adults, and a must have for every Auburn Tiger Family!
