There was a time when things seemed to move a little slower. When the world didn’t seem quite so hectic and there was room for the important things.

When peace was a little easier to come by, and there was time for visiting on the front porch swing.

A time of daughters dancing on the tops of daddy’s feet, and daddies teaching their sons to hit a baseball.

A time of simple pleasures; of books and music and the kindness of strangers.

It was a more innocent time, when we walked in step with the backbeat and static coming from old AM radios.
