I was born and raised in Tuscaloosa, AL. I graduated from the University of Alabama. Retired from the United States Probation Office after almost 25 years of service. I love to work in my flower garden, study the word of God, go hiking with my husband, spend time with my family and play with my two dogs. My Daddy gave me a hardback book to write my poems in when I was a little girl. He built me a walnut desk and chair (which I still have) on our carport when I was growing up. This is where I would sit and write. He helped me with my homework and school projects. We won several awards for my projects. I have always been a Daddy’s girl. I am so proud of him. He has guided me and helped me all my life and I am so grateful. I still refer to him as my hero.

A Mustard Seed
As Christians we all know the love our Lord has for us. Look at all the beautiful things He created. I love the stars, moon, beautiful sunshine and even the quiet rain. There is nothing more relaxing than sitting and resting and hearing the quiet rain against the windows. I am so very thankful for the people He has put in my life. Every day I thank him for all of my blessings. Every day we wake up is a blessing. I hope that we all can make a difference in someone’s life. Maybe we can lead others to Him.…
