Donna P. McCullum

Alabama native, Donna P. McCullum, is passionate about educating and empowering people to live an authentic and purposeful life. Donna earned her Ph.D. in Curriculum & Instruction from the University of Alabama (Tuscaloosa) in December 2011 and her Ed.S. in Science Education from the University of Alabama (Birmingham) in 2000.  She earned her master’s and bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Alabama A&M University. She is a life-long learner and believes in the power of education to transform lives.  She has over twenty years of experience in public and higher education, education administration, and educational research. Donna has become a successful educator, noted speaker, and author. She is the author of Navigating the Journey of a Lifetime and Navigating the Journal of a Lifetime Companion Journal.  She is the founder of The Donna P. McCullum Foundation for Educational Excellence, a nonprofit organization that provides scholarships to minority girls entering their first year of college. She enjoys reading, art and jazz, and she loves spending quality time with her beautiful daughter, Genesis.
