“It was very, very good. I knew your story almost from beginning to end. I am super excited that you were able to put it on paper and the book has been therapeutic for you. Written by Shirlene Roberts

Shirlene Roberts is a talented and gifted woman. She is passionate about Jesus. Her gift is to encourage others she does that daily. She enjoys helping at her local church and in her community. She is a teacher and now an author. Unfortunately, she has endured the pain and sudden loss of her beloved husband, but she has made it through to the other side of widowhood. Life will never be the same, but life can go on.

“Though he slay me yet will I trust him.” Job 15:13

When I look at all the seasons that take place on the earth, they are reflective of all the seasons we go through in our life. We have winter, spring, summer, and fall. Everybody loves spring when things are blossoming, blooming, and growing. Everybody looks forward to summer when everything is bright and cheery and restful. Folks even enjoy fall when things are changing. But it’s hard to find someone who loves the winter or who likes winter. My faith is rooted in knowing that even while it has been winter in my life spring is still coming. We can trust Him even when we don’t like what life is serving, we can trust Him even when we are at the crossroads in life trying to figure out is this God or is this the enemy. God is worth the wait! Have the faith of Job and in spite of your condition resolve in heart that “Though he slay me, yet I will trust him.”

Shirlene has three daughters and six grandchildren and lives a full and active life.
