J. Jackson Ethridge
J. Jackson Ethridge has had a lifelong love affair with aircraft and has owned and co-owned a number of planes. His adopted brother, a veteran of World War II took him for his first airplane ride when he was six-years-old.
He has worn many hats. Some of which involve creative writing, acting and producing for radio and television. This is not his first venture in the print media but the first into the literary world.
An enjoyable story of an aviation-minded family set in Alabama between the 1950’s and present day.
Jim, a young aviator, was raised in a loving, nurturing home but with secrets that could potentially destroy or strengthen the family bonds.
Be ready to laugh and to also have your heartstrings tugged a little. And there are sections that may even bring a tear or two.
It’s not a nuts and bolts airplane story but the aviation theme is the glue that helps to bind the story together.
It is, in fact, a love story that didn’t start out to be one. In the book, as in life, romance and love happen when they are least expected.
Follow young Jim as he finds at age 16 that he is not who he thinks he is. And at 28, the other shoes falls and more is revealed.
This is a story of life’s lessons, family bonds and the interesting characters you meet along the way like Raul and DeeDee.
